The Financial Management Association operates with the direct purpose of providing each of our members with the highest level of experience through real-world application and out of classroom opportunities.
Our organization is dedicated to expanding Marquette's network by coordinating on-site visits to nationally renowned institutions, inviting industry and community leaders to speak and participate in mentor programs, and cooperating with other student organizations to procure participation in the most competitive seminars and training sessions.
We encourage collaboration between upper- and underclassmen through resume assistance, interview skills development, and business communication initiatives. We work with Marquette alumni, business professionals in the Milwaukee community, and business leaders in outside communities such as New York to identify and facilitate access to internship and career opportunities.
The FMA was established in accordance with the values and ethical standards of Marquette University and St. Ignatius and strives to have these values reflected in all of our functions as we simultaneously acknowledge the infinite potential of our members to secure national recognition for the organization and University's business program.
